About the Author Alexis Seabrook is a widely published illustrator whose work has appeared in national newspapers, magazines, books, calendars, and advertisements since 1992. She spent 10 years as an illustrator for The New York Times. The North Carolina-based artist has illustrated more than 45 books for Simon & Schuster, Hyperion, HarperCollins, and more, most notably the Daring Books for Girls series (William Morrow, 2008). Her first coloring book, Wonderful Whimsical Coloring, was published by The Taunton Press in 2015.
