Authentic Italian – right at home! Straight from Academia Barilla, a cooking school located in Parma, Italy, comes a mouth-watering collection of authentic Italian recipes for pizza, everyday breads, rolls, flatbreads, breadsticks, and many other specialties.
Academia Barilla is dedicated to preserving Italian culinary heritage, so many of the recipes found here are ones that you seldom discover in cookbooks outside of Italy. The recipes have been edited for the American cook, and include full-color photographs that bring each dish to life. Tips and bread-making advice are provided.
Six chapters provide a wealth of recipes devoted to the pleasure of making your own bread at home, whether for pizza, weeknight dinner rolls, or herb-infused special occasion fancy breads and focaccia. Plus, you’ll learn how to season bread with many different aromas for any meal, any time of day.
These easy-to-prepare recipes don’t require special equipment, and help you learn (and love) the art of breadmaking. Enjoy nearly more than a dozen pizza recipes, 15 flavorful focaccia and flatbread creations, two dozen varieties of everyday breads and rolls, crackers and breadsticks. Plus enjoy specialty recipes that prove the authentic heritage of Acadamia Barilla – and Pizza, Breads & More – including these:
- Fried Dough
