- Our "Go To" Book Review by Sharon
We love this book.
Sometimes you get a little tired of making the same things over and over again. We always go to this book, as EVERY single recipe in here is actually delicious.
Last night we tried the Beef stew with root vegetables. Everyone wished that we had made a double batch.
This whole week we are trying new recipes, just from this book.
So happy to have this in our home.

- One-Pot Meals - Fall 2011 Review by Nancy
I am enjoying the One-Pot Meals issue and have made three dishes thus far. The Wine-braised chicken with shallots and pancetta was outstanding. It was so good that I repeated it within less than a week. It gave me a whole new appreciation for shallots as an important ingredient in a recipe!
I also made Beef Stew with Root Vegetables and loved it. I did add the cooked vegetables to the beef and cook together for the last fifteen minutes.
Both excellent hardy, winter dishes!!
