About the Author
Joanne Weir is host of her public television series Joanne Weir’s Cooking Confidence and winner of this year's Taste Award for Best New Series. The Annual TASTE AWARDS (also known as the TASTY Awards) in Hollywood celebrate the year's best in Food, Fashion, and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, and on Radio.

Joanne has written 17 cookbooks, including the James Beard Award-winning Weir Cooking in the City. She was recently awarded the honor of In addition to her cookbook writing, Joanne is an editor-at-large for Fine Cooking and has contributed to Bon Appetit, Saveur, Cooking Light, Food & Wine, Gourmet, Sunset, and Better Homes and Gardens. Joanne also teaches cooking classes in her home studio kitchen in San Francisco, hosts culinary journeys around the world, and is executive chef of Copita restaurant in Sausalito, California.
